He is survived by: his wife Beth Bock; his daughters, Laura (Andy) and Adele (Scott); his grandchildren, Savanna Shallcross (Cole), Charlie (Alli), Summer and Parker; his great grandchild Ells; his siblings, Paul (Becky) and Marty (Clancy); and his caregivers, Joan Wells, Payton Goble, Chandler Jones, Ann Meier and Kate Dutka of Dudley's Home Health. He is also survived by many extended family members and lifelong friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (701 N Main Ave, Newton, NC 28658). Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
