It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cynthia Ann Morgan of Newton, North Carolina, who passed away on August 2, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Metsger and Bertha Icard Metsger; and her husband James Lee Morgan. She is survived by: her son James G. Morgan (Jennifer) of Newton; her siblings, Eric Metsger of Connelly Springs, Denise Michaud of Morganton, Pamela Smith of Lenoir, Jennifer Wetherby (Tim) of Charlotte and Kim Drum (Mark) of Connelly Springs; her grandchildren, Kylie Hix (Scout) and Izaiah Morgan; and her siblings' children, Josh Wetherby (Cassie), Kyle Drum (Elizabeth) and Alyssa Metsger.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Keep Cynthia's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
