We bid farewell to Danny Mitcheal Willis of Newton, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 9, 2025 at the age of 72. Danny Mitcheal touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his father Timothy Dolph (Willis); his parents-in-law, James Drum and Florence Drum; and his grandparents, Belzie Willis, Christine and Fred Beard.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Drum Willis; his son Timothy James Willis (Lucie) of Newton; his mother Betty Christine Beard Willis of Newton; his sisters, Amy Diane Willis Gates of Lincolnton and Judy Carol Willis Buff (Bobby) of Catawba; and his grandchildren, Theodore Dolph Willis and Aurora Blair Willis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the May's Chapel Church (1707 Mays Chapel Church Rd, Maiden, NC 28650). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
