With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elizabeth Ann Connor (Newton, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 14, 2025 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elizabeth Ann Connor to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her son Brandon Marty Connor; her parents, Joseph Claude Whitener and Zelda Mae Baker Whitener; her brother-in-law Ronald Ramsey; and her nephew Greg Ramsey.
She is survived by: her sons, Eric Connor (Kim) of Claremont and Tracy Connor (Julie) of Newton; her grandchildren, Brooke Connor, Michael Connor, Brittany Connor and Mathew Connor; her sister Becky Ramsey of Conover; her nephews, Kevin Ramsey and Brian Ramsey; and her close friend James Warren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Bennett Funeral Service (7878 NC-16, Newton, NC 28658). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be sent to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County, 2347 Simonton Rd., Statesville, NC 28625.
