He was predeceased by: his parents, Max L. Gordon Fulbright and Viola Church Fulbright; and his siblings, Bland Fulbright and Mary Frances Fulbright Seaborn. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Ann Jones Fulbright; his children, Ellis G. Fulbright, Jr. (Melinda), Patricia Fulbright Harrell (J. T. Harrell) and Rev. Amelia Kay Fulbright (Jonathan Zercher); his grandchildren, Tyler Harrell, Anna Morgan Harrell, Abigail Fulbright, Mason Fulbright, Vivienne Zercher and George Zercher; and his brother Douglas Fulbright.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Oak Ridge Baptist Church (7449 Oak Ridge Church Rd, Connelly Springs, NC 28612). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
