He is survived by: his wife Sheila Petty Caldwell; his children, Brent Caldwell and Lauren Virginia Caldwell; his granddaughter Maeve Caldwell; his sisters, Leida Stewart and Lindy Caldwell; his nieces, Paige Phillips and Meredith Stewart; and his sister-in-law Sandra Hartsoe.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (300 N Main Ave, Newton, NC 28658).
