She is survived by: her parents, Takashi Motohashi and Joy Naomi Motohashi; her husband Doug Gardner; her grandmother Jane Oshiro; her sister Julia Motohashi; her father-in-law Toby Kiker; her stepchildren, Donald Jr., Michael and Traci Gardner; her brother Paul; her sister-in-law Tina Kiker; her grandchildren, Donivan, Devin and MiraJane; and her aunt Janet Oshiro.
A reception was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Family Life Center at Abernethy Memorial Child Daycare Center (1220 N Shipp Ave, Newton, NC 28658).
