We announce the death of Frances Carey Miller Jr. in Newton, North Carolina, who passed away on July 23, 2026, at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Carey Miller, Sr. and Elizabeth McClenny Miller. He is survived by: his wife Bette Lee (Mitchell); his daughters, Jennifer Nelson (Derwin) and Sarah Friedberg (Jason); his sisters, Barbara Ann Filling (Lewis), Gail Everhart (Jeff) and Dale Boone (Melvin); and his grandchildren, Andrew Nelson (Anika), Kathryn Verschuren (Karl), Gabriel Friedberg and Alexander Friedberg.
