He is survived by: his wife Patricia Chapman Hass; his children, Kathy Hass Odom (Terry) of Newton, Franklin Hass Jr. (Kimberly) of Conover and Gena Hass Dellinger (Randy) of Newton; his grandchild Scottie Powell (Johnathon); his children, Amber Waugh (Justin), Paige Carter (Will), Megan Hass, Shannon Hass and Cameron Dellinger (Mandy); and his great grandchildren, Titus Powell, Teagan Powell, Isabelle Waugh, Tucker Powell, Easton Carter, Abigail Waugh, Oakland Carter, Jameson Dellinger, Azalea Carter and Charleston Dellinger.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Burke Mortuary Chapel (2516 N Main Ave, Newton, NC 28658). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
