She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Baker and Eva Benson Baker; her husband Charles Franklin Travis; her son Terry Wayne Travis; and her great grandchild Sera White.

She is survived by: her children, Debra Hollar and Charles "Danny" Travis; her grandchildren, Michelle, Jaime, Wayne (Scottie) and Melissa (Bryon); her great grandchildren, Melea, Daniel, Caleb and Kaylee; and her great great grandchildren, Melody, Colton and Linleigh.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Garnie's name.
