With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary Wayne Simmons of Newton, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 14, 2025 at the age of 74. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary Wayne Simmons to pay them a last tribute.
Though Gary may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gary touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Lowman and Blanche Simmons Lowman; his brother Ronnie Lowman; and his niece Crystal Hamrick. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Fulbright Simmons; and his sister Pamela Clark (Teddy). He is also survived by three brothers in laws, and their wives and numerous cousins.
