With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Glenn Lester Wilson (Newton, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 20, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lander Junius Wilson and Johncie Elvira Bryant; his wife Shirley; his daughter Rachel Diane Merrill; and his siblings, Coye, Clifton, Howard Wilson, Donnie Sigman, Mary Houser, Leona Cansler and Eunice Goble.
He is survived by: his son Michael Wilson (Sandy); his sister Ruby Wilson; his grandchildren, Mike Wilson (Jennifer) and Jordan Wilson; his great grandchildren, Michael and Grant Wilson; and his sisters-in-law, Doris Yount (David), Rita Dellinger and Kaye Dixon. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
