He is survived by : his wife Brenda Detter of Newton; his children, Michelle Foss (Scott) of Shelbyville, Kentucky and Jamie Detter of Newton; his siblings, Michael Detter (Karen) of Maiden, Dale Detter of Lincolnton, Terri Detter of Maiden and Carri Davis of Iron Station; his grandchildren, Seth Greer, Zachary Greer, Ashley Hicks and Brittany Detter; and his great grandchildren, Braidyn Greer, Reagan Hicks, Sophia Greer and Zaine Hicks.
