He was predeceased by: his parents, James Howard and Joan Ramseur Gantt; his father-in-law Stuart Sigmon; his brother-in-law William Earl Armstrong II; and his niece Emily Armstrong.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Sigmon Gantt; his son Jason Jerome Gantt; his sisters, Jamie Griffin (Mitch) and Jodie Potter; his sister-in-law Sandra Armstrong; his nieces and nephews, Kevin Driscoll (Kaitlin), Brittany Johnson, Kelsie Driscoll, Garrett Griffin (Karissa) and Ben Elledge; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kason, Keaton Driscoll, Ian, Gage Johnson, Malachi Armstrong, Samuel Griffin, Kenna Driscoll and Emily Hood.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Startown First Baptist Church.
