She is survived by: her husband James Burnette, Sr. of Newton; her children, Karon Brown (Jody) of Florida, Rebecca Doty (Chuck) of Newton, James Burnette, Jr. (late Brandy) of Newton, John Burnette of Newton and Lee Burnette (Heather) of Newton; and her grandchildren, Kellie, Katie, Courtney, Logan, Riggins, Emma, Tristan, Arabella, Nick and Nate.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Burke Mortuary Chapel (2516 N Main Ave, Newton, NC 28658). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
