She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Lofland and Virginia Deese Lofland. She is survived by: her siblings, Lindy Caldwell, Leida Stewart and Eric Caldwell; her siblings' children, Lauren Caldwell, Brent Caldwell (Crystal), Maeve Caldwell, Paige Phillips, Meredith Worley (RJ), Mary Bergen and Grace Bergen; and her pets, Pipper, Elle, Scout and Poppy.

Memorials may be made to the Catawba County Humane Society.
