With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Wilson of Newton, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 25, 2025 at the age of 55. He was predeceased by: his father James Wilson; his brother Jeffrey Scott Wilson; his brother-in-law Jeff Prevatte; and his sister Valerie Wilson. He is survived by: his mother Sandra Gay Wilson; his children, Holden Scott Wilson, Skylar Renee Wilson and Victoria Faith Wilson (Jordan Yoder); his sister Kimesia Wilson Atapovich "Dink" (Matthew); his neices, Madison Wilson and Valerie Sigmon (Micah); and his brothers-in-law, Richard Prevatte and Myron Prevatte. He is also survived by several close friends that were like brothers.
