He was predeceased by: his parents, James Odell Burgin and Marion England Burgin; and his brothers, Horace and James "Birddog" Burgin. He is survived by: his siblings, Marvin Burgin of Connecticut and Ellen Burgin of Newton.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Greater Faith Missionary Baptist Church (3147 12th Ave SE, Hickory, NC 28602).
