She is survived by: her mother Edith Hood Grimes (James) of Rock Creek; her son Darin Grimes (Francisco) of North Wilkesboro; her brother Jimmy Grimes (Becky) of Roaring River; her nephews, Justin, Jordan and Jarret Grimes; her cousins, Jody Sidden (Mike), Jamie Patterson, Heather Grimes and Kevin Grimes; her aunt Sandy Grimes; and her stepmother Chris Grimes.
