It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Carmen Pizzichillo of Newton, North Carolina, who passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Thomas and Mary Lucille Pizzichillo; his wife Elianore M. Pizzichillo; his daughter Mary Anna Pizzichillo; and his sister Rose Marie Grace Derra.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ellen Garrison, Francine Mericle (Richard) and Patricia Merring (Mark); his grandchildren, April Mericle, Frank Mericle, Thomas Mericle (Katherine), Clifford Garrison Jr. III, Jason Garrison, Michael Herendeen and Lacey Herendeen; his great grandchildren, Asia Borden, Adrien Borden, Emilyn Mericle and Elianora Mericle; and his grandchild Kaliya Kristoferson.
