He is survived by: his wife Martha DeRhodes Hovis Staley; his children, Lauren Staley Sailors of Hickory, Adam Lucas Staley (Erin) of Clearwater, FL and Jordan Thomas Staley of Los Angeles, CA; his stepson Richard Hovis (Christina Hovis) of Newton; his grandchildren, Noah, Cooper Sailors, Grace (Hovis), Wesley Hernandez and Rachel Hovis; and his sister Carol S. Stamper.
