It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Terry A. Ramsey of Newton, North Carolina, who passed away on October 15, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Ramsey and Julian Ramsey. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Ramsey; his children, Chris Ramsey (Alessandra) and Cherie Peyton (Theamus); his brother Henry C. Ramsey (Sue); and his grandchildren, Gavin Ramsey, Oliver Ramsey, Mackenzie Peyton and Kimber Peyton.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jenkins Funeral Home (4081 Startown Rd, Newton, NC 28658). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans.
