He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Bennett and Verda; and his brothers, Dale and Jerry Bennett. He is survived by : his wife Shirley Bennett; his brother Bobby Bennett (Elizabeth) of Texas; his children, Wes Bennett (Stephen) of New York, Bill Bennett (Christie) of Oklahoma, Brandi Lewis of North Carolina, Joshua Lewis (Heather) of Virginia and Michael Lewis (Caroline) of South Carolina; his grandchildren, Austin Bennett, Sarah Bennett, Nathan Bennett, Jackson Lewis, Jareth Dotson and Gracie-Belle Lewis; his great grandchild Zhavia June-Rose Bennett; his pet Sophie; and his caregiver Tom.
