He is survived by: his child Christy LaShay Barker; his stepdaughter Evelyn "Shante" Ramseur; his grandsons, Lamont'e Ramseur, Ladamain Ramseur and Rishawn Ramseur; his wife Barbara Ramseur Barker; his sisters, Karla K. Barker Allen (Dana) and Debra Barker Travis (Tony); and his nieces and nephews, Brandy Barker, Alexis Travis, Willow Allen, Ivy Allen, Kyle Barker, Bradley Barker, Warren Allen, Devon Allen (Diana) and Tony Travis (Dawn).

A memorial service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Catawba Funeral Home (3060 US Hwy 70 SE, Hickory, NC 28602).
