He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Bolick and Clara Lowman Bolick; his brothers, Pete Bolick and Zeb Yount Jr.; his son-in-law Tim Eugene Hefner; and his grandchildren, Christy Dawn Yount and R. T. Hefner.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Hinson Yount; his children, Troy Yount Jr. of Caldwell County, Robert William Yount (Krissy) of Conover and Donna Suddreth Hefner of Conover; his sister Ann Bolick of Conover; and his grandchildren, Danny Hefner (Brittany Collins), Christopher Yount and Jessica Hardin.
