It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Paul Pearson in Newton, North Carolina, who passed away on November 3, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Odous Pearson and Mary Abigail Haas; his wife Virginia Arnett Pearson; his son Gary Wayne Pearson; and his siblings, Glen, Charlotte, Irene and Margaret.
He is survived by: his daughter Becky Duggan (Danny); his grandchildren, Michael Pearson, Hannah McLendon, Caleb Pearson, Chelsea Pearson and Vanessa Wertz; and his pets, Dolly and Bonnie. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
