Deborah Fletcher Posten Obituary

Deborah "Debby" Posten, 70, passed away on January 26, 2026 at her home in Norlina, NC.

Debby was born on October 19, 1955 to the late Walter Gail Fletcher, Sr. and Helen Louise Garretson.

Debby is survived by her daughters Heather Hughes (Robert), of Clarksville, VA and Michelle Joyner (Christopher) of Henderson, grandchildren Kassidy Edwards and Tyler Edwards, sister Kathleen Mustian (Coleman) of Norlina, nephews Brandon Mustian (Arin), Nelson Mustian (Megan), several grandnieces, grandnephews and companion Albert "Max" Bailey of the home.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Kent Bowers, Walter "Butch" Garretson, Donald Fletcher and her niece Dana Leigh Mustian.

She asked for no gathering, no ceremony - only to be remembered in quiet moments and kind thoughts. In keeping with her wishes, no memorial service will take place.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services of Louisburg.
