She is survived by: her children, Gary Sims of Silver Springs, Jennifer Sims of Warrenton, Walter Lyons of Henderson and Tonyetta Lyons of Buford, Georgia; her grandchildren, O'Kiyyah Lyons of Upper Marlboro, Gary Sims of Temple Hills, Tanisha McCray of Temple Hills, Genita Sims of Temple Hills, Joshua Allen of Buford, Galia Sims of Temple Hills, Caleb Peters of Buford, Cameron Sims of Warrenton and Latoya Silver of Raleigh; her sisters, Ernestine Faulcon of Warrenton, Ada Marie Davis (Sandy Lee) of Warrenton and Mattie Pearl Simes of Rocky Mount; her godchildren, Jeremy Sims (Mary) of Charlotte, Natasha Kearney of Oxford and Reverend Samuel Champion (Helen) of Middleburg; her aunts, Fran Young of Linden, Annette Mitchell of Philadelphia and Eleanor B. Boyd of Warrenton; her uncle Luther Young of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and her friend Jennifer D. Sims. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, classmates, church family and cherished friends.
