He was predeceased by: his parents, Estil Lester and Vadia Bowens Lester; and his wife Shirley Keene Lester. He is survived by: his daughter Kathy M. Lester of Albion; his granddaughter Natasha; his son Steven J. Lester (Shelby Lee Lester); his granddaughter Katrina; his stepgrandchildren, Ryan, Gracynn, Jayston and Roman; and his stepson Shane Zimmerman.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home (270 Armory Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659).
Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to help with funeral expenses.
