She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas Kerbaugh and Eula Leonard Kerbaugh; her husband James M. Bentley, Jr. (Jim); and her siblings, Shoun (Bessie), Len (Mildred), Glyn (Quinn), Vivian Greene (Kenneth) and Yolande Caudill (Tommy).
She is survived by: her children, Roger Bentley (Kristen) of Mt. Juliet Tennessee, Beverley Welch (Gregg) and Gracia Bentley of North Wilkesboro; her grandchildren, Adam Welch (Samantha), Leah Welch, Carter Bentley and Olivia Bentley; her great grandchild Mac Welch; and her sister-in-law Lois Bentley.
Although Doris loved flowers, the family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to First Baptist Church of North Wilkesboro, P.O. Box 458, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659, or to Baptist Children's Home of NC, P.O. Box 338, Thomasville, NC 27360.
