He was predeceased by : his parents, George Stewart Forester and Harriet Lenoir Forester; his wife Elizabeth "Lib" Louisa McNeill Forester; his children, Elizabeth Lenoir Forester and Phillip Lenoir Forester; and his sister Nancy Forester Miller.
He is survived by : his sons, Charles Stewart Forester (Kim) of Wilkesboro and Isaac Gambill Forester of North Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Morgan Lenoir Forester Paulson (Alex) of Lake Oswego, OR, Henry Hayes Forester of North Wilkesboro, Andrew Isaac Forester of Crestone, CO and Benjamin Stewart Forester of North Wilkesboro; his great grandchild Alexander Hayes Paulson of Lake Oswego, OR.; and his brother Walter Lenoir Forester (Sue) of North Wilkesboro.
