With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gwyn Rogers of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on May 11, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Vernon Rogers and Martha Lucinda Cain Rogers (Cindy); and his sister Charlotte Brookshire. He is survived by: his wife Patty Rogers; his children, Kim Shew (Joe) of Moravian Falls, Gwen Smith (Lee) of Colfax, Janet Pinkerton of Hickory, Michael Thornton (Bre) of North Wilkesboro, Donnie Thornton (Angila) of North Wilkesboro and Jeannie Lawrence (Jeff) of Winston-Salem; his siblings, Clyde Rogers (Jean) of Moravian Falls, Floyd Rogers of Moravian Falls, Mildred Edmisten of Moravian Falls and Joyce Bullis (Ralph) of Moravian Falls; and his grandchildren, Coty Chapman (Julie) of Taylorsville, Casey Chapman (Hali) of Stony Point, Natasha Robinette (Jeff) of Hickory, Amber Thornton of North Wilkesboro, Hannah Thornton of North Wilkesboro, Kaleb Thornton of North Wilkesboro, Lilly Thornton of Purlear, Brandi Talley (Edward) of Wilmington, Beth Talbert of Orlando, FL and Brent Talbert (Stephanie) of Orlando, FL. He is also survived by six great grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews.
