It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leota Fay Shepherd of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on March 6, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John David Faw and Hattie Ercella Parsons Faw; her husband Odett Shepherd (Odell); and her sisters, Moletha Hayworth and Linda Sandoval.
She is survived by : her sons, Danny Parsons (Sherry) of North Wilkesboro and Charles Austin (Beth); her siblings, Pansy Hayworth, Beulah Hayworth, Francis Roten and Johnny Faw; and her grandchildren, April McManus (Jeff), Reggie Adkins (Laura), Matthew Austin and Sydney Austin. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
