She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Lee and Lorraine Faw Mathis; and her brother-in-law Ronnie Blackburn. She is survived by : her husband Reid Mathis; her daughter Shelley Maxwell (Robert) of Arvada, CO; her grandchildren, Robert "Ross" Maxwell and Layla Maxwell; and her siblings, Brenda Walker (Eugene) of Boone, Bonnie Blackburn of Roaring River, Nancy Boyd (Rick) of Holly Springs, Roy Mathis Jr. (Lisa) of Wilkesboro and David Mathis (Sherry Townsend) of Roaring River.
