With solemn reverence, we commemorate Sandra Evans Herndon (North Wilkesboro, North Carolina), whose life came to an end on October 10, 2025 at the age of 79, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Clifton and Margaret Louise Miles Evans; her husband Paul Herndon; her siblings, Margaret Crouse and Samuel Evans; and her stepdaughters, Linda Carter and Rowena Hughes.
She is survived by: her stepdaughter Cathy Hunter (Ivor Brimelow) of Oak Island, NC; her brother-in-law Rick Erlandson; her close friend Brenda; and her caregiver Geneva. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; countless nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Chapel (180 Sparta Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659).
