He was predeceased by: his parents, James Oliver Owens and Betty Montgomery Owens of North Wilkesboro; and his wife Marsha Owens. He is survived by: his son Derek Owens (Kristy) of North Wilkesboro; and his granddaughters, Tinley and Ruthie Owens.
