He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Vance and Maudie Scarboro Aldridge; his wife Bonnie Aycock Aldridge; and his siblings, Ottie Dunn, Jack Aldridge, Reece Aldridge, Robert Aldridge Lee Aldridge and Joe Aldridge.
He is survived by: his children, Ronny Aldridge (Bonnie) of Oakboro and Nancy Aldridge Murr (J. R.) of Norwood; his granddaughters, Kristen Gregory (Bill), Janna Johnson (Timothy) and Francine Thompson (Jake); and his great grandchildren, Thaddeus, Nathaniel, Elias and Lilly.
