Carolyn Palmer Trail Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on May 4, 2026, at the age of 88, Carolyn Palmer Trail of Norwood, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Denzel Palmer and Lake Erie Palmer; and her sister Barbara Jarrett. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Julian S. Trail; her children, Julian Trail Jr. (Wil) of Bethesda, Mark Trail (Lorri) of Wake Forest and Karen Trail Martin of Charlotte; her grandsons, Robert, Harris Trail and Andrew Martin; her niece Robin Jarrett of Dallas, Texas.; and her caregivers, Bernadette Pickles and Erica Griffin.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Raleigh Lace Museum.
