He was predeceased by: his father William Henry; and his siblings, Homer Lee Poplin, Lois Alvin Poplin of Vernon Poplin, W. C., Dub, Eva Mae Leonard and Mildred Lucille Speight.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Lambert Poplin; his sons, Jerry Dixie Poplin of Star and Michael Larence Poplin; and his sister Carnell Swaringen of Norwood.
