He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Huneycutt and Ruth Huneycutt; his siblings, Tommy Huneycutt, William'Buzzy'Carpenter, Richard Carpenter, Marry Morris and Marie Austin; his former life partner Melodie Lynn Huneycutt; his stepson Tommy Snelgrove; and his grandson Dillion Snelgrove.

He is survived by : his fiancée Patricia Long; his children, Josh Huneycutt, Zachary Huneycutt, Chrystal Dawkins, Charlotte Hinson, Shelby Snelgrove Glenn and Shellayne Snelgrove; his grandchildren, Daniel Glenn, Kelli Goff, KeShawn Morris, Wyatt Snelgrove, Sterling Plazola, Kian Plazola, Lexi Howard, Zach Huneycutt Jr., Jacqueline McGuire, Jessica Henry, Cheyanna Cone, Jasmin Dawkins, Sabrina Hawthorne and Sherry Biby; and his siblings, James Blake (Debbie) and Edith Croft. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
