We are sad to announce that on July 27, 2025, at the age of 80, Ella Ruth Stipe of Norwood, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Ella farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Ella is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Graham Preslar and Sara Preslar; and her brothers, George and David Preslar. She is survived by: her husband Glenn Stipe; her sons, Glenn Stipe Jr. (Virginia), Steven Douglas Stipe (Wendy), Timothy Allen Stipe (Kim) and Eddie Stipe; and her siblings, Margie Mauldin, Becky Scott and Joseph Preslar.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Service Chapel (120 College St, Norwood, NC 28128). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Home (120 College St, Norwood, NC 28128).
