She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlton Ray and Maxine Burkes Irby; and her sister Shirley Wright. She is survived by: her husband John Gillespie; her daughter Sherrie Wood (Michael); her granddaughter Sydney Faith Ellenburg; and her siblings, Ray Irby, Wayne Irby, James Irby and Gail Brooks.
