It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeanette Thompson of Norwood, North Carolina, who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Carson Livingston and Gertrude Chapman Livingston; her husband Herbert T. Thompson; and her sisters, Pauline Eudy and Aileen Ballard.

She is survived by : her children, Charlotte Benton of Norwood and Terry Thompson (Billie) of Marshville; and her brother Ralph Livingston of Virginia. She is also survived by six granddaughters, 15 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (207 S Main St, Norwood, NC 28128). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church in Norwood.
