He is survived by : his wife Tammy Gregory Almond of Aquadale; his mother Joann Almond of Albemarle; his son Colby Almond (Susan); his grandsons, James and Henry of Charlotte; his children, Carson Almond of Calabash, Mackenzie Almond of Raleigh and Milas Almond (Salika Che) of Greensboro; his brother Ladd Almond of Albemarle; and his pet Barney.
