With sadness, we share the passing of Miriam Plowman Ferrell of Norwood, North Carolina. Miriam passed away on September 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Plowman and Nellie Plowman; her husband Arthur Junior Ferrell; and her siblings, David Plowman, Joel Plowman, Lonnie Plowman, Bruce Plowman and Merrita Plowman.
She is survived by: her children, Damon Cotton of Charlotte and Angela Forrest (Mark) of Norwood; her grandchildren, Matthew Forrest (Savanna) and Heather Carhart (Eric); and her great grandchildren, Braxton, Bentley, Brooks, Bella, Luke, Lincoln, Lainey and Liam.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care - Albemarle (1835 Badin Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Norwood First Baptist Church (143 Anson Ave, Norwood, NC 28128).
