With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Reece Deese (Norwood, North Carolina), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Reece left this world on December 27, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Deese and Foda Deese; his wife Kathie Talbert Deese; and his siblings, Stacy Deese (Mary), Kathleen Kimrey (Alfred), Tony Deese (Margaret), Betty Whitley (Neil) and Bobby Deese (Jeanette).
He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Piner (Lewis), Kathryn Louise Kepley (Don) and Andrea Deese (Terry); and his granddaughters, Brittany Piner, Morgan Piner, Margaret Kepley, Caroline Kepley and Meredith Kepley. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Working Land Trust or the North Carolina Wildlife Federation (Pollinators Program).
