He was predeceased by: his parents, Jones Edward and Eddie Lee Howell; his wife Lucille Baucom Howell; his daughter Glenda Howell; and his siblings, Donald, Edward Howell, Rebecca Sells and Matilda Hinson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sheila Huneycutt (Eddie) of Norwood, Sandra Faircloth of Ansonville and Shelby Howell of Ansonville; his grandchildren, Adam Faircloth, Dalton Hill and Ava Hill; and his sisters, Audrey Moore (Wilson) and Lina Sikes (Bobby). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
