Sybil will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Though Sybil is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Sybil’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Preslar and Edna Mae Smith Preslar. She is survived by: her husband Donald Mabry; her son Shellie Mabry (Candy); her siblings, Lee Preslar and Gail Tucker (Pat); and her sisters-in-law, Carolyn Preslar and Jovanne Faulkner. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Home (120 College St, Norwood, NC 28128). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Porter Baptist Church (16562 US-52 A, Norwood, NC 28128).
