She was predeceased by: her parents, William Clark and Josephine Clark; her husband Stanley Ash; and her son William Howard Rutledge. She is survived by: her daughter Cathy Szybura (Bernie); her grandchildren, Christopher Szybura, Sarah Szybura and Maggie Rutledge; her great grandchildren, Ash Rutledge and Isabella Garcia; and her sisters, Patsy McLellan and Mary Jack Goldfeder. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Peacock - Newnam & White Funeral Home Chapel (1411 N Howe St, Southport, NC 28461).
