It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Michael Way of Oak Island, North Carolina, who passed away on July 19, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though David Michael may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. William Way and Arlene Way; and his former wife Elizabeth Larkin. He is survived by: his wife Nancy McBride; his daughter Catherine LaFlamme (Peter); his grandchildren, Elizabeth and Owen; and his siblings, Judy Brown (Joe), Larry Way (Lucia) and Ned Way (Joan). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at 801 Ocean Dr, Oak Island, NC 28465.
